The Caregiver Workbook

Drawing from the insights in Samuel Ng’s book, “Can I Hold You A While Longer?”, the Caregiver Workbook is a key component of our workshops and group programmes at JiaYou, and also a part of the National Silver Academy. This interactive workbook goes beyond simply guiding caregivers — it is a comprehensive tool that empowers them to better understand their roles, prepare for challenges, and redefine their caregiving journey. The workbook covers essential aspects such as:

• Understanding dementia and its impact on families

• Defining and adapting roles as caregivers

• Exploring personal values and beliefs that influence caregiving

• Embracing the concept of being an ‘imperfect’ caregiver

• Discovering creative ways to care for loved ones and themselves

Through interactive elements like role-playing and group discussions, caregivers are equipped with vital skills and introduced to a supportive community. To learn more about how you can experience The Caregiver Workbook, reach out to us or visit JiaYou.
